Award-winning writer Elin McCoy has been the global wine critic for Bloomberg News since 2001 and is also the U.S. editor for international podcast The Wine Conversation, as well as a regular contributor to the World of Fine Wine and Decanter. Her most recent book, The Emperor of Wine: The Rise of Robert M. Parker, Jr. and the Reign of American Taste, garnered praise in more than 200 reviews worldwide and has been published in seven foreign editions. She is at work on a book set in Sonoma and finishing a compilation of her columns for a book on wine in the 21st century.
