After 10 years in the service of agri-food SMEs, Laure took over the management of Agence BIO, a public interest group created 20 years ago by the Ministries of Ecological Transition and Agriculture to support the growing demand for more sustainable food.
Because citizens/consumers need objective information to make informed food choices, Agence BIO explains organic farming and food, its benefits, and how to eat a little more organic food every day without changing your budget.
It compiles, analyses and shares organic figures via its National Observatory of Organic Agriculture.
It also finances collective entrepreneurial projects to structure the French organic sector with the 13 million euros of the Fonds Avenir BIO, which for 15 years has been building the French larder of organic food made in France.
