Mathieu graduated in agronomy and winemaking in 2002 and has spent 18 years with Moët Hennessy, in the rum business (Trinidad and Tobago), sparkling wines (Australia) and technical engineering (Champagne). After completing is training with an Executive MBA at HEC he joined Château Galoupet in 2020 as the Estate Director.
