Description
Born in Mendoza, Argentina, coming from a family involved in winemaking, had interest in farming since he was raised.
After graduating as Agriculture Engineer from Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, he specialized in Forestry in Milan, Italy; but his career changed towards the viticulture when he started working with a passionate team at Moet Hennessy, in Argentina. He soon started leading the Grape Purchases, managing the area at Bodegas Chandon and Terrazas de los Andes for over 10 years.
In 2014 he arrived at California with Moet Hennessy to work as Grower Relations for Domaine Chandon and Newton Vineyard for three years.
Since 2017, Carlos Danti holds the position as Winegrowing Director and is leading a passionate team to bring Chandon’s ambition as a leader on the sparkling market in USA.
With a growing surface of 300 hectares of vineyards that spans from Napa to Sonoma Counties, Carlos focuses on improving farming operations, mechanization and sustainability, while sourcing Chandon California grapes from the estates and growers.
