CropX

Presentation

CropX offers a suite of decision and planning tools based on continuous monitoring of soil and crop conditions. By collecting real-time data from both above and below the ground, CropX provides agronomic recommendations enabling farmers to manage resources such as water, fertilizer, and pesticides in a manner that prevents plant stress before it happens and maximizes yield. The CropX decision and planning tools are highly accessible for farmers. The system is simple to set up, easy to use, and affordable. Solution Software solution coupled with sensors providing data both in and above the soil – offering farmers tools to better act on real-time conditions, in a predictive and preventive way. While CropX is a startup that initially developed a leading irrigation solution, it has since grown through acquisitions to provide additional decision and planning tools. By curating the best-in-market technology from around the globe, CropX has a growing list of agronomic insight solutions to offer farmers. Key advantages CropX uses accurate and complete data from above and below the soil surface to help farmers take action before their plants start showing signs of stress. Farmers can thus optimize the use of soil inputs and improve their agricultural yields while having a beneficial effect on soil health and biodiversity. This leads to maximized profit and production with minimized impact on the environment. Actionable insights are provided in a clear and simple manner through the desktop or app-based software program. Facts & Figures The startup was founded in 2015 in Israel and is led by serial entrepreneur Tomer Tzach. CropX is established on 4 continents, and has 10,000 systems deployed in 48 countries. The solution is adapted and active on 82 types of agriculture. CropX is currently active with the winegard sector in Austria, Chile and Australia, both for table grapes and for vines. The startup has 80 employees. Almost half dedicated to software and hardware development and many with deep roots in the agriculture industry. www.cropx.com
